The Arabian Nights

The Arabian Nights: Their Best Known Tales edited by Kate Douglas Wiggin & Nora A. Smith. Published 1923 by Scribners. Illustrations by Maxfield Parrish. Very good in a good + jacket.

The book is straight and square, the lettering on the spine is well preserved and bright. The cover has some rubbing but the illustration is intact. The jacket has has some internal foxing, a split to the inside of the spine and a large closed tear to the lower portion of the spine. The jacket presents well despite this under mylar.

Overall a sharp early printing in the original jacket with a lovely art deco booksellers stamp on the rear illustrated endpage
